Barrier optical sensors separate receiver and emitter into two separate housings. This mainly helps the distance of the collaboration and increases the variety of objects that can register. Barrier optical sensors are available as standard in sizes M08, M12 and M18. Some rectangular cases like those of the ODDT126 and ODD127 models are also popular. As with some models, the working distance reaches up to 15 m.
This type of sensor is manufactured with a connecting cable or M08/M12 coupling. The output type can be PNP, NO+NC or NPN, NO+NC.
