The main application of this type of sensor is the registration of a marker on flexible foil or packaging. Once the sensor reads, the marker in question sends a signal to perform subsequent mechanical actions such as cutting, gluing or filling.
Optical marker sensors are characterized by operation in the visible region of the spectrum - red or green LED. There is an option to select the color of the emission relative to the target marker.
