Capacitive AC sensors are triggered by molten and non-metallic objects. Their sensitivity is adjusted with a multi-turn potentiometer and they have a light indication of the working state. They are also protected against inductive overloads. Their switching element is a thyristor. The supply voltage of these capacitive sensors is 90...250VAC, 40...60Hz.
Capacitive AC sensors operate in the -10......+55C range. The degree of protection is IP65. Their storage temperature is -25...+70C, RH < 85%. The housing material can be chrome-plated brass or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Capacitive AC sensors are manufactured with NO or NC output for flush or nonflush mounting.
