Capacitive DC sensors are triggered by molten and non-metallic objects. Their sensitivity is adjusted with a multi-turn potentiometer and they have a light indication of the working state. They are also protected against surges in inductive loads. Their switching element is a thyristor. The supply voltage of these sensors is 12...24Vac, 100Hz.
Capacitive DC sensors operate in the range -10......+55C. The degree of protection is IP65. Their storage temperature is -25...+70C, RH < 85%. The housing material can be chrome-plated brass or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Capacitive AC sensors are manufactured with NO or NC output for shielded or unshielded mounting. The output type can be PNP or NPN. The operating distances of capacitive DC sensors vary from 5 to 15 mm. depending on whether the mounting is shielded/unshielded and whether the housing size is M18 or M30
