The electronic counter is a microprocessor device that serves to measure the speed of rotating objects. The indication is a 4-digit, LED, with a height of 10mm. It allows working with different types of sensors: inductive, optical, magnetic, and mechanical contacts are not recommended. Input type (NPN or PNP) is indicated on request. A pre-divisor of input impulses can be set. The device has a relay controlled by two predefined limits, one (LIM1) including the relay and the other (LIM2) switches it off when the display is incremented. It is possible to set a time delay to trigger the relay. All parameters are stored in non-volatile memory.

Setting:

Changing the relay output limits: Press and hold the SET button for 1 second. The display shows LIM1 and then the limit value 1. The rightmost digit flashes and can be changed with the UP key. The MODE button selects the next digit and changes the same way. Actions repeat as needed. To exit and store, press the SET button for 1 second. The display shows LIM2 and then the value of boundary 2. It is set in the same way. After pressing the SET button for 1 second, the device returns to working mode with the new limits.

If an indication is above limit LIM1 and / or below limit LIM2, the relay is switched on. The value of the two limits can be from 0001 to 9998, and at 0000 and 9999 the relay is not used. Both limits may differ, but at the same values ​​the relay is switched off. Changing parameters: Press the two SET and MODE buttons and hold for 3 seconds. The display shows PRE and the pre-divider value. The rightmost digit flashes and can be changed with the UP button. The MODE button selects the next digit and changes the same way.

Actions repeat as needed. To exit and store, press the SET button for 1 second. The display shows the DLY and the time delay value. Sets the same way. After pressing the SET button for 1 second, the device returns to the operating mode with the new parameters. The pre-divisor value can be from 0001 to 9999. The time delay is in the range 00.0 to 99.9 seconds.

If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the device returns to operating mode without recording the changes. When powering, the tachograph automatically loads its parameters and starts to read the input pulses. A total display indication requires at least 16 input impulses. When the range is exceeded, the display shows 9999 and flashes. When the UP button is pressed briefly in the operating mode, the display is held for 3 seconds.

Electronic devices are designed to operate in normal climatic conditions, in normal fire safety environments, without fluids and gases aggressive to the material of the enclosure.
